Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) and Bharatpur-based Manakamana Hospital Pvt Ltd have signed a concession agreement. The agreement has been made with the objective of providing special discount on health services to the participants, shareholders and employees of the fund.
According to the bilateral agreement signed between the Fund and the hospital, the people associated with the Fund will now get concession in various treatment services. The agreement was signed by Hemanta Pokharel, director of CIT and Umakanta Baral, chief market of Manakamana Hospital.
As per the agreement, the fund’s participants, shareholders and employees will get 20 percent discount on general health services provided by the hospital. In addition, there will be 10 percent discount in CT scan, 10 percent discount in surgery and 5 percent discount in purchase of medicines.
To avail this facility, the participant, shareholder or employee of the fund will have to submit an official document revealing their identity. For this, an identity card, certificate of association with the fund or other identification documents will have to be shown to the hospital administration.
