According to the financial report, the bank has earned a net profit of Rs 35.88 crore in the first six months of the current FY. Previous fiscal year 2081. During the same period, the bank had earned a net profit of Rs. 66.18 crores. The profit of the bank decreased by 45.78 percent compared to the previous year.
In the review year, the bank’s distributable profit stood at Rs 1.10 billion. The bank had posted a distributable profit of Rs 15.81 crore in the same period last year.
The bank’s operating profit stood at Rs 50.41 crore in the current FY. In the previous year, the operating profit was limited to Rs 91.13 crore. The operating profit of the bank was down by 44.68 percent.
In the second quarter, the bank earned an interest income of Rs 3.14 billion. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 3.07 billion in the same period last year. Interest income increased by 2.28 percent.
The bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 15.50 billion with a rated earnings of Rs 1.10 billion and reserve of Rs 8.82 billion. In the previous year, the retained earnings were Rs 77.81 crore and the reserves were Rs 7.40 billion.
During the review year, the bank collected deposit of Rs 210.22 billion and extended loan of Rs 168.21 billion. The bank had collected deposit of Rs 2.11 billion and extended loan of Rs 168.86 billion in the review period of the previous fiscal year.
The bank’s bad loan ratio (NPL) increased to 6.86 percent during the review period. The bank’s NPL was 4.85 percent in the same period a year ago.
The bank’s annualized earnings per share (EPS) decreased to Rs 4.63 per share. Last year, the EPS was Rs. 8.96. The bank has a net worth of Rs 149.79 with a P/E ratio of 41.68 times.
