Kathmandu. Citizens Bank is going to sell 60,000 units of promoter shares. The bank’s founding shareholder Chandra Investment has submitted an application to the bank for the sale of its shares.
According to the directive of the Nepal Rastra Bank, the bank is going to sell the shares so that only the existing promoter shareholders of the bank can buy the shares. The promoter shareholders who want to buy the shares will have to apply to the central office of Citizens Bank in Narayanhiti with the necessary documents within 35 days from the date of publication of the notice.
The bank will issue the shares to the general public if the application for purchase of shares is not received from the existing promoter shareholders or if the shares are not sold completely within the stipulated period.
