Kathmandu. Citizens Bank has called its 20th Annual General Meeting.
The meeting of the Board of Directors of the bank has decided to hold the AGM on October 12. The meeting will begin at 11:00 am at Amritbhog, Dilli Bazaar, Kathmandu.
The meeting approved a proposal to distribute a total dividend of 4 per cent of the current paid-up capital to the shareholders for FY83. This includes 3.80 per cent bonus shares and 0.20 per cent cash dividend for tax purposes.
The meeting will also approve a proposal to increase the issued and paid-up capital after the distribution of bonus shares. For this, the meeting will pass a proposal to authorize the Board of Directors to make necessary amendments, including additions and additions, if any direction is received from the regulatory bodies to amend the memorandum of association.
The meeting will also approve the annual and auditor’s report of the previous financial year. The meeting will approve the integrated financial statement of the bank’s subsidiaries along with the financial statements of the previous financial year.
The meeting will approve the proposal for the current fiscal year 2083. 83 for the appointment of the auditor and the determination of his remuneration.
The bank has decided to close the book on October 19 for the purpose of dividends and meetings. This means that only the shareholders who have remained in the bank before October 19 will be eligible to receive the dividend and attend the meeting.
