Chudamani Chapagain resigns as CEO of NEPSE

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Chudamani Chapagain has resigned from his post on Tuesday.

Chapagain submitted his resignation to the Ministry of Finance today. He spent 14 months as the CEO of NEPSE.

Chapagain has been criticized for not doing much after being appointed as the CEO of Nepse. The NEPSE employees were also not satisfied with his work. “Chapagain was like a brilliance employee,” said a NEPSE employee, adding, “He could not work as expected.” Therefore, he must have resigned under pressure from the present government. ’

The then government had appointed Chapagain as the CEO of NEPSE on April 2, 2081.
