Kathmandu. Chiranjibi Adhikari, an expert with a long experience in the field of information technology and cybersecurity in Nepal, has been given the important responsibility of Associate Director at Techpaila Innovations under Digi Group. The appointment of an officer who has been active in the field of information and communication technology for nearly two and a half decades is seen as a positive and hopeful step directly related to the digital future of Nepal.
Adhikari, who is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of CAN Federation and the IT Policy Coordinator, has contributed significantly in cybersecurity and technology development in collaboration with various agencies of the government of Nepal in the past. Now, under his leadership, Techpaila believes that he will open the door to new thinking, new momentum, and new possibilities, with artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity at its core.
Adhikari has set a long-term goal of developing Nepal as a ‘digital bridge’ through digital collaboration with neighbouring countries India and China. According to him, the need of the hour is a skill-first approach to produce skill-based skilled manpower that will make Nepali youths globally competitive.
Rajendra Malla, Chairman of Tekpayala Innovations and immediate past president of Nepal Chamber of Commerce, said that Adhikari’s arrival will take the organization to a new height. He also expressed his confidence that it was a matter of pride for the organization to bring in experienced leaders in the field of technology and that Techpaila would be even more powerful in innovation and digital transformation in the days ahead.
Likewise, Bigyan Shrestha, President of Digi Group, said that the addition of experienced experts in the IT sector to the organization is a very positive sign for the future. According to him, such leadership will not only accelerate the pace of the organization but also make the organization’s identity higher in the overall information technology sector.
