Kathmandu. Deposits in the banking system have increased by Rs 1 billion in a single day. According to the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), deposits stood at Rs 77.77 trillion as of Friday, up from Rs 7.77 trillion on Saturday.
Similarly, the loan disbursement till Friday was Rs 58.15 trillion which increased to Rs 58.14 trillion on Saturday. Credit flow has decreased by Rs 1 billion in a single day.
As of Saturday, deposits of commercial banks have reached Rs 70.05 trillion while loans from commercial banks have reached Rs 5.174 trillion.
The CD ratio has come down to 74.07 percent and the interbank interest rate is 2.75 percent. The CD ratio was 74.09 percent the previous day.
