Finance Minister Wagle drew the attention of various attempts to spread confusion on the issue after the budget was announced. “Investors had said that it would be better to increase the capital gains tax to 5 percent, but there should be a final tax,” he said, adding that the government has announced capital gains tax of 5 percent, 7.5 percent and 7.5 percent and 10 percent as the final tax. But some people are misleading that the tax has been increased, let’s not do such things. ’

Giving the example of India, Finance Minister Wagle said that the government is very soft on the capital of Nepal’s share market. “It is 10 per cent and 20 per cent in India”, he said, adding, “Why is there confusion about the government when it is 7.5 per cent and 10 per cent in Nepal?” ’
