Best Paper Award for Researchers of Nepal Engineering College

Kathmandu. Seven researchers from Changunarayan Bhaktapur-based Nepal Engineering College have won the Best Paper Award. Prabhat Kumar Chaudhary, Santosh Kumar Chaudhary, Ujjwal Kumar Karna, Deepika Neupane, Rajiv Kumar Yadav, Dipesh Prasad Guragain, and Bijay Shrestha were awarded the Best Paper Award at the prestigious International ICT and Photonics Conference 2026 (Track 5: Recent Trends in Computing).

The award was presented to them for their in-depth study, technological excellence and solving real agricultural problems, according to the International Information & Communication Technology and Photonics Conference 2026.

The international recognition of the award reflects the excellence of the students of Nepal Engineering College and the college’s commitment to promoting innovation, effective research development, and contributing to global scientific progress.

The college had successfully organized the IILE E International ICT and Photonics Conference 2026 in Kathmandu from February 11 to 14 in collaboration with Research and Innovation Centre for the first time in Nepal.

Researchers, academicians, industry experts and scholars from national and international organizations were brought together to share the latest achievements and research findings in the field of Information and Communication Technology and Photonics.
