Kathmandu. With the addition of more liquidity in the banking system, the CD ratio of the banks has come down to 73%.
The CD ratio has come down to 73% due to aggressive deposit growth and slow credit flow in this proportion. This proves that the demand for loans in the bank is very low.
According to the data of Nepal Rastra Bank, deposits have reached Rs 79.79 trillion as of Sunday. Similarly, the loan disbursement has reached Rs 5.876 trillion.
As of Sunday, deposits of commercial banks have reached Rs 71.97 trillion while loans from commercial banks have reached Rs 5.22 trillion.
