Bank Holiday for the year 2083 declared, how many days of leave for employees? (with list)

Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the list of bank holidays for the year 2083.

The central bank has released a list of bank holidays for 48 days in 2082. It also includes the holidays to be taken after the date as decided by the Government of Nepal.

According to NRB, banks will remain closed on April 1, 2018. May 1 is a public holiday on the occasion of International Workers’ Day.

Similarly, banks will remain closed for 7 days during Dashain and 5 days during Tihar. As per the agreement, banks will remain closed from Ghatasthapana on October 9 and Phulpati on October 14 to Dwadashi on October 22. The bank holiday is also given from Laxmi Puja on November 5 to Bhai Tika on November 10.

Similarly, there will be a bank holiday every Saturday and a half-day holiday on Friday. If the provincial government declares a public holiday for a maximum of six days in a year and if the provincial government declares a public holiday for more than 6 days in the province, it will be as per the decision of the Ministry of Home Affairs in the case of three districts of Kathmandu Valley.

Meanwhile, the NRB has fixed office hours and banking transactions. The office hours will be from 10 am to 5 pm from April 1 to October 29, 2002 and from January 1 to mid-March. The office hours will be from 10 am to 4 pm from November 30 to January 29. It will be held every Friday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Similarly, the banking hours will be from 10 am to 4 pm from April 1, 2002 and from January 16 to mid-March. The office hours will be from 10 am to 3 pm from October 3 to January 29. Every Friday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
