Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has restricted the perks and perks of chief executive officers (CEOs) of banks and financial institutions.
The central bank has issued a directive on salary, allowances and other facilities of chief executive officers of banks and financial institutions, 2083 BS. According to the guidelines, the CEO will be charged the expenses provided beyond the limit set by the recommendation committee of the bank. If the CEO is not able to recover from the CEO, then the decision maker will be able to recover the amount from the decision-maker.
According to the guideline, the CEO should be provided with a salary of up to 0.50 percent of the fixed annual salary and allowances fixed in other business membership, telephone and internet facilities, and other allowances as determined by the recommendation committee.
Similarly, the CEO will get one mobile and laptop facility as determined by the recommendation committee. The CEO will also get one vehicle as determined by the recommendation committee. This provision shall not be an obstacle to the continuity of the motor vehicles being used at present under the existing agreement. Similarly, the same CEO will not be allowed to provide another vehicle during his/her service period (even if re-appointed).
The CEO will also get fuel and driver and driver expenses required for the vehicle.
Similarly, the bank and financial institutions will also get the shares that can be received by the CEO from the shares allotted to the employees.
