Kathmandu. The government has announced to provide assistance in agricultural insurance to genuine farmers.
Presenting the budget for the coming fiscal year in a joint meeting of both houses of federal parliament today, Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle announced to provide assistance to genuine farmers in agriculture insurance. He also informed that the misuse of the premium subsidy of agricultural insurance will be controlled.
Likewise, 80 per cent subsidy will be provided in the premium of agriculture and livestock insurance and other subsidies will be gradually removed, said Wagle.
