Kathmandu. Asian Life Insurance Company (LIC) has announced a discount of up to 50% on the revival of its policies.
Issuing a notice today, the company has stated that the interest waiver facility will be available for the revival of insurance policies that have exceeded 6 months from the date of payment of the premium by the end of Magh 2082. As per the agreement, the company will provide 50 percent interest discount on policies with maturity of 5 years and 25 percent on policies with maturity of 2 years to less than 5 years.
This discount will be available on the revival of the insurance policy from March 22 to March 22.
The company said that no exemption will be available if the maturity period is less than two years. The company has also clarified that the re-interest waiver will not be provided to the insured who has already taken interest waiver once.
