Kathmandu. Asian Life Insurance Company (LIC) has decided to get up to 100% discount on the revival of its policies.
Issuing a notice today, the company said that the interest waiver facility will be available to the policy holders whose policies have exceeded 6 months from the date of payment of the premium by the end of Baisakh 2083. As per the policy, the insured will get 100% interest rebate on the re-issue of the policies (2 years that have expired) from June 2, 2081.
Similarly, the company has given 50 percent discount on revival and 25 percent discount on policies expiring before June 3, 2021 (more than 5 years).
This discount will be available for revival of insurance policy from June 20 to July 2, 2020.
The company said that no exemption will be available if the maturity period is less than two years. The company has also clarified that the re-interest waiver will not be provided to the insured who has already taken interest waiver once.
