Kathmandu. Current fiscal year 2082. As of mid-April 2018, the micro life insurer has brought in a business of more than Rs 965 million.
According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) today, three micro life insurance companies have earned a total of Rs 96.56 crore in the first 10 months of the current fiscal year. During this period, the number of active insurance policies of these companies stood at 24,37,024.
Crest Micro Life was the top gainer in the company during the review period. The company has collected Rs 34.94 crore in insurance premiums till mid-April. As of April, the number of active insurance policies of the company stands at 5,55,350.
Similarly, Guardian Micro Life has collected Rs 34.66 crore and Liberty Micro Life has collected Rs 26.96 crore in insurance premiums till April. During the period, Guardian Micro Life had 14,91,899 active insurance policies and Liberty Micro Life had 3,89,775 active insurance policies.
