The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on Sunday decided to distribute a total dividend of 5.263 percent from the profit and accumulated profit of the current fiscal year of Rs 4.04 billion. This includes 5 percent bonus shares and 0.263 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.
The company has also decided to hold its 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on October 12 to approve the dividend. The company has decided to close the book on October 27 for the purpose of dividends and meetings. This means that only the shareholders who have remained in power as of October 27 will be eligible to receive the dividend and attend the meeting.
