Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and his wife and former Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Police have issued an arrest warrant against Arzoo Rana Deuba. The Department of Money Laundering Investigation (PMLA) has issued an arrest warrant against the couple from the Kathmandu District Court in connection with the investigation into their alleged involvement in amassing illegal property.
Deuba’s house in Budhanilkantha was set on fire on September 24. The couple was injured. Videos surfaced showing that some parts of the house were burnt and money was also found.
