Kathmandu. The approval of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has now been made mandatory for the filling of permanent and temporary posts in government bodies.
The decision was taken at a meeting of secretaries held today. As per the new organization and management survey, the government has decided not to fill up the permanent posts without the approval of the Prime Minister’s Office and will not ask the Public Service Commission for temporary posts as the employees have to be managed.
Likewise, the meeting of secretaries has decided that the ministries and bodies concerned should make internal adjustment of existing employees in the posts approved as per the new organization and management survey.
The meeting also decided to make arrangements to depute the additional employees in the vacant positions of the federal offices, provincial governments and local levels in coordination with the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration.
