The main objective of the training program was to enhance practical knowledge, regulatory obligations, and compliance capabilities in the securities market, especially in the TAG_CLOSE_strong_16 TAG_OPEN_strong_16 merchant banking business. A detailed presentation was made on the international {{TAG_OPEN_strong_15} AML/CFT concept, Nepal’s legal and regulatory regime, the role and responsibilities of market intermediaries as per the directive of the Securities Board of Nepal, as well as the practical compliance expectations of merchant bankers.
