Kathmandu. The stock market rose marginally on Wednesday. NEPSE index increased by 4.99 points to close at 2782.10.
With the rise in the market, 9 sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group increased while 4 sub-groups decreased. The trading group rose the most by 0.73 percent while the manufacturing and Pacific group fell the most by 0.43 percent.
On this day, the share prices of 151 companies increased and 105 companies declined. Shares of 14 companies remained stable today.
More than Rs 6 billion was traded in the market today. Most of the transactions have been done in Ankhukhola hydropower.
