All students of Kedia Dental College in Birgunj fail Medical Council exam

Kathmandu. A Teaching Hospital in Birgunj has failed in the MBBS and BDS level doctor’s license examination conducted by the Nepal Medical Council.  According to the results published by the Council, all 13 students who appeared for the license examination from MB Kedia Dental Teaching College have failed.

The Council had conducted the examination for the medical service from May 26 to 29 and published the results of the examination on Tuesday.

According to the Council, 46 percent of the students who appeared in the license examination of National Medical College, another teaching hospital in Birgunj, have failed. According to the council, 81 students had applied for the examination from the medical college and 80 had appeared for the examination. A total of 44 students have passed the examination. The remaining 36 failed the exam and could not get a doctor’s license.

According to the Council, 76.79 per cent of the students have passed the MBBS and 85.50 per cent of the BDS students have passed this year’s examinations. There are 20 medical colleges and 14 dental colleges in the country.
