Kathmandu. Ashok Kumar Agrawal has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of NIC ASIA Bank. The 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on June 3 unanimously elected him to the Board of Directors on behalf of the promoter shareholders and the Board of Directors appointed him as the Chairman for the next four years.
On the same day, Ashok Kumar Agrawal, the newly appointed chairman of the Nepal Rastra Bank, appointed the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Prof. Dr. Bishwanath Poudel has already taken the oath of office and secrecy.
Mr. Ashok Kumar Agrawal, the Chairman of Nepal, has long experience in the banking and financial sector, insurance and corporate sectors of Nepal and has made a special contribution to the economic development of the country through successful leadership.
