Kathmandu. Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance (LIC) has concluded its ninth annual general meeting in Kathmandu on Tuesday. The meeting was presided over by Samjhana Aryal, chairperson of the board of directors of Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life.
The meeting along with the auditor’s report for the fiscal year 2081. The annual report of 82 has been approved. The meeting held the last fiscal year 2081. The meeting has approved a proposal of distributing 8.421 percent dividend to the shareholders from the distributable profit. Out of the total distribution, the government has approved the proposal of distributing 4 percent bonus shares and 4.421 percent cash dividend.
In addition to this, the meeting has also approved the annual report, auditor’s report, balance sheet, profit and loss account and financial statements including cash flow of the last fiscal year as well as the appointment of an auditor for the current fiscal year and determining his/her remuneration.
The company had closed its book on January 21 for the purpose of dividend distribution. Based on the book close, only the shareholders of NEPSE till January 20 will be eligible to receive the dividend.
