Kathmandu: The top management level seminar jointly organized by The Life Insurance Association of Nepal(JEBISAN) and the Foundation for the Advancement of Life & Insurance Around the World (FALIA Japan) concluded on Tuesday at Hotel Crowne Imperial, Kathmandu.
This was the first-ever joint event organized by the two entities in Nepal. Representatives of life insurance companies, executive members of JEBISAN, executive members of FALIA, and The Life Insurance Association of Japan participated in the seminar.
Addressing the meeting Praveen Raman Parajuli, Vice President of JEBISA, said, “The historic seminar between Nepal and Japan is the first step toward joint cooperation. These kinds of seminars will help to serve greater interest and development of Nepal’s life insurance sector.
A presentation on “Challenges of the Life Insurance Industry in a Rapidly Changing Business Environment” was made by representatives of FALIA.
Surya Prasad Silwal, the chairman of Nepal Insurance Authority congratulated JEBISAN and FALIA for the conduction of the seminar. He expressed his hope that the seminar will contribute to the upliftment of the life insurance industry of Nepal.
The President of JEBISAN, Poshak Raj Paudel expressed his gratitude to all the personalities who supported the program to make it a success.
Representatives of Falia Japan and JEBISAN expressed their commitment to continue to organize such programs in future too.
