Kathmandu: General insurance company, Neco Insurance Company settled 8,959 claims by the end of the third quarter of the current financial year 2079-80. According to the press release issued by the company, it paid a total of NPR 1.27 billion against claim settlement by the end of Chaitra 2079.
The company claimed that 70 percent of the total claim has been settled by the end of the third quarter of the current FY. Out of the total claims paid, 2,230 claims were against agro and livestock insurance. The company paid NPR 102 million against agro and livestock insurance.
