Kathmandu: The newly elected Chairman of Nepal Insurance, Laxman Paudel, has taken the oath of office and secrecy at the office of the Nepal Insurance Authority. The Chairman of Nepal Insurance Authority, Surya Prasad Silwal, administered the oath of office and secrecy at his office on Thursday.
Poudel was unanimously elected as the chairman of the board of directors by the meeting of BODs held on Falgun 17, 2079. According to sub-section 6 of section 47 of the Insurance Act 2079, the chairman of the Authority must administer the oath of office and secrecy for the newly elected chairman of an insurer.
