Kathmandu: The Employees’ Provident Fund(EPF) has announced the beneficiaries of the accidental death claim of 26 contributors. The 489th and 490th meeting of the EPF has decided to provide Rs. 2 lakh to the families of 26 deceased who lost their lives in various accidents since Jestha 2078. A total of Rs.52 lakh will be distributed to the legal heir of the late contributors who lost their lives in an accident.
The amount is paid under the social security service program run by EPF for the benefit of its contributors. According to the information released by the Fund, the list of beneficiaries includes families of 10 security personnel, 7 teachers, 4 employees, and others.
