Kathmandu: The 29th annual general meeting (AGM) of United Insurance concluded with the endorsement of the financial audit report of the financial year 2078-79. The AGM was held at Anmol Baquet in Shankhamul, Kathmandu.
The AGM endorsed the agenda of a 5.2632 percent dividend from the profit of the financial year 2078-79. The proposed dividends include a 5 percent stock dividend. The proposed dividend will be distributed only after approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority.
The house also passed the agenda forwarded by the BODs to appoint MGS and Associates Chartered Accountants and fix their remuneration.
Compared to the last financial year 2077-78, the company’s insurance fee income has increased by 42 percent in this financial year 2078-79. It earned Rs. 1 billion 564 million 586 thousand insurance premiums.
