Kathmandu: The state-owned reinsurer, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has been honored as the largest tax payer among insurance companies. The Department of Inland Revenue has honored NRIC for its contribution in tax in the financial year 2077-78.
On the occasion of Tax Day, prominent tax payers representing service and industry sectors too have been honored by the IRD. Last year too, the IRD had honored NRIC for highest income tax payment among insurance companies for FY 2076-77.
