Insurance Board mulls to introduce online system for agency license

Kathmandu: The Insurance Board(IB) mull to introduce online services for the renewal of agency license and surveyor’s license. From the third week of March, agents and surveyors will be able to get online renewal facility.
The IB’s spokesperson Rajuraman Poudel informed that an online system is being developed to expedite the license renewal of insurance agents and surveyors and the license issuing process. Agents can easily renew from the IB’s online portal paying the renewal fee through the digital platform. Similarly, from the Third week of April, agents will be able to get new license through the online system.
