Kathmandu: Life insurance companies have earned Rs 57.79 billion total premium during the first five months(Sawan to Mangsir) of the current fiscal year 2078/79. Life insurance companies have earned Rs. 11.26 billion in Mangsir 2078 (Mid- November to Mid-December 2021) alone.
Nepal Life Insurance Company has collected Rs 2.89 billion total insurance premium in Mangsir alone. Its TPI of five months is Rs. 15.44 billion. Similarly, Life Insurance Corporation has collected the second highest TPI in Mangsir. he company has earned Rs. 1.33 billion in Mangsir while the TPI of 5 months remained Rs. 6.58 billion.
National Life Insurance, which is in the third place, has earned Rs. 1.10 billion in one month and Rs 5.64 billion in five months. The state-owned life insurance company, Rastriya Bima Sansthan has earned Rs. 864.4 million in Mangsir. Its TPI of five months period remained Rs. 5.65 billion.
