Kathmandu: Shivam Cement Company Limited, the manufacturer of Shivam Brand Cement has provided accidental insurance to 260 construction workers of Dhading, Gorkha and Damauli.
The company has informed that the construction workers have been provided the accidental insurance coverage followed by an interaction program about the technical aspects of construction.
Keeping in view the risky work of the construction workers, Shivam Cement had introduced free accidental insurance scheme for the construction workers.
Under the first phase, more than 1,000 construction workers in 16 different places including Kathmandu, Makwanpur, Parsa, Rautahat, Janakpur and Mahottari districts have been technically interacted and accidental risk coverage insurance has been provided, the company said.
