Kathmandu: Shikhar Insurance Company has completed 17 years of operation. The company has been operational from established on June 3, 2006 and received a certificate from the Insurance Committee for non-life insurance business on November 17, 2004.
The company has honored 25 employees who have completed 10 years of service on the occasion of its 17th anniversary. Blood donation program has also been organized to celebrate the anniversary.
Established as the 15th non-life insurance company in Nepal, the company has succeeded to remain at number one position in terms of dominance in the market share.
Shikhar Insurance is at the forefront in terms of insurance premium earnings, paid-up capital and returns paid to the insured. Its assurance fund is of Rs. 1.36. The paid up capital has reached Rs. 1.75 billion. The company has been providing non-life insurance services through its 92 branch offices including 16 inside the valley.
Mr. Dip Prakash Panday has been leading the company since its inception. He is serving his last term as Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
