Kathmandu:Nepal’s first re-insurance company Nepal Reinsurance Company has entered its eighth year of its establishment. The company is celebrating its eighth anniversary today. Nepal Re, Nepal’s first reinsurance company that has succeeded in bringing foreign currency to Nepal, has made significant progress in the last seven years.
The company has successfully completed the seventh spring of its reinsurance by establishing business relations in more than 30 countries of the world and bringing crores of rupees in premiums to Nepal through various re-insurance support.
On the occasion of eighth anniversary,Dr. Rabindra Ghimire, the Chairman of BODs of Nepal Re, has made commitment to improve the financial strength and take the credibility of the company to a new height.
Shankar Rayamajhi, the CEO of Nepal Re, said that the company will strengthen and implement the core responsibility of risk management and transfer with sincerity and move forward in partnership with all concerned agencies for sustainable development, expansion and consolidation of Nepal’s insurance industry.
