Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank is floating Rs.20 billion for Bank and Financial Institutions. The central bank has announced to float the amount for short-term to maintain liquidity of the BFIs.
NRB has published a auction notice for Repo of Rs.20 billion. The auction date for 14 days Repo is set for 11th Kartik 2078(28 October 2021). A, B and C Class BFIs can participate in the auction through the official website of public debt management department of NRB.
With the change in provision of Credit Deposit Ratio(CD Ratio) calculation through the new monetary policy of year 2021, the BFIs are having tough time to maintain CD Ratio within the ceiling of 90 per cent.
