Kathmandu: LIC Nepal has handed over the cheque of Rs. 6.8 million against death claim. The company has handed over the claim payment to the family of Rajesh Manandhar, 52, of Kuleshwor, Kathmandu.
Manandhar died on 27 April, 2021 while undergoing treatment. Rajesh Manandhar had purchased life insurance policy from LIC Nepal. Laxmi Prasad Das, CEO of LIC Nepal, handed over a cheque his heir Mrs. Shobha Manandhar.
On the occasion, the CEO clarified the importance of life insurance saying that it does not fulfill the emotional aspect of one’s life but helps in minimizing the economic impact. He also informed that LIC Nepal has always been committed to protect the interests of the insured.
