Kathmandu: General Insurance Company Nepal Limited is celebrating its 3rd anniversary. On this occasion, the company has organized a feeding program at the old-aged home and blood donation program at the central office.
During this period, the company has been operating non-life insurance business through 39 branch offices and one central office. The company has managed to raise Rs 1 billion in paid-up capital by issuing Rs 300 million worth of primary shares to the public last September.
The company has earned net premium of Rs 163.6 million till the third quarter of the current fiscal year. It has been able to collect a total of Rs 522.8 million in insurance premiums since its inception.
Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the company Ram Chandra Shrestha informed that the non-life insurance business will be further expanded in the coming year. He said that the main objective of the company is to conduct non-life insurance business and expand the business by providing more quality services.
