6-point directive issued for transfer of students and examination management

Kathmandu. The government has issued a 6-point directive for the transfer and examination management of students from unorganized settlements.

The Centre for Education and Human Resource Development under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology today issued a circular to all local levels for necessary facilitation regarding the transfer of students from unsystematic settlements, examination management and school adjustment. The Centre has issued this directive keeping in mind the possibility that the students of such settlements may be deprived of basic facilities such as school access, regular attendance, educational materials, safe environment, etc.

The directive also calls for adopting various facilitation measures to run the teaching and learning activities of the students in a regular and effective manner.

The directive also directed the students participating in the class 12 examinations to facilitate to go to the examination center and to make alternative arrangements in the areas where the school itself has been affected.
