According to the published population, the insurance coverage was calculated by projecting the population up to mid-April 2082, while 49.69% of the population is still out of the reach of insurance while 50.31% of the population has access to insurance.
As of mid-April of the current fiscal year 2082/83, the scope of foreign employment term life insurance has increased by 7.65 percent and the coverage of life insurance has reached 50.31 percent. As of Ashad end of FY 2078÷79, the insurance coverage stood at 41.20%. The insurance coverage was 44.38%, 43.27% and 48.33% in FY 2081÷82.
