Kathmandu. A total of 21 candidates have applied for the post of Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN). According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, a total of 21 interested candidates have been registered till the last date of application.
The ministry had published a notice on April 26 and invited applications. The deadline to register applications was set on May 21 during office hours.
The applicants range from former administrators to incumbent employees of the authority.
In the list made public by the ministry, experienced and skilled people from different districts have applied. Prabhakar Chandra Mallik, Utsav Raj Kharel, Shyam Kishor Sah, Pramod Kumar Chaudhary, Murari Prasad Poudel, Jashoda Subedi (Regmi) are the applicants. and others. Similarly, Luv Raj Joshi, Jagannath Niraula, Premnath Thakur, Dr. Trilochan Poudel, Devendra Prasad Pandey, Tek Nath Sitaula, Arjun Basnet, Laxmi Prasad Upadhyay, Umesh Kumar Panthi, Engineer Dipendra Shrestha, Gyanendra Bhul, Mukesh Dangol and Sanjay Kumar Bhagat are among others.
According to a press release issued by the ministry, the selection process will be proceeded after evaluating the applications received. This competition for the leadership of CAAN has been keenly watched in the civil aviation sector.
