Kathmandu: The cabinet meeting of the government of Nepal approved the Insurance Regulations, 2081. The meeting held on Monday approved the long pending Regulations.
The Regulation comes into effect after 26 months of the execution of the Insurance Act 2079. The Act was executed on Kartik 22, 2079. The new regulation has replaced the previous Insurance Regulations 2049.
The insurance regulatory authority, Nepal Insurance Authority expects better regulations and service delivery with the approval of new regulations.
