Kathmandu: Nonlife insurance companies have collected about NPR 4 billion in total insurance premiums during the first month of the current financial year 2080-81. According to the data unveiled by the Nepal Insurance Authority, a total of NPR 3985.9 million in insurance premiums was collected by the 14 licensed insurers during the period of one month.
Everest Lumbini Insurance Company earned the highest total insurance fee NPR 551.5 million. The company’s market share is 13.84 percent in terms of insurance premiums income of the month. Siddhartha Premier earned a total of NPR 425 million in insurance premiums. Himalayan Everest Insurance earned the third highest insurance premiums NPR 343.7 million rupees.
