Kathmandu: The chairman of Capital News Network Pvt. Ltd. Keshab Prasad Bhandari has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Peoples Hydropower Company Limited. The office of the election officer for the upcoming AGM today announced that Bhandari along with Ram Saran Adhikari were unanimously elected to the BODs following the withdrawal of nomination by Krishna Prasad Adhikari.
Both of them will represent the public shareholder’s group in the BODs. The AGM of the hydropower is scheduled to be held on 4 Asar 2080. People’s Hydropower is running Super Dordi ‘Kha’ Khola Hydropower Project(54MW) in Lamjung District. It is a run-of-river project. Another hydropower project Himchuli Dordi Hydropower Project(57MW) is under construction in Lamjung District by the company.
