Life insurance business witnessed a minor growth of 2.25 percent

Kathmandu: Life insurance companies earned a total of NPR 104 billion in insurance premiums by the end of the third quarter of the current financial year 2079-80. 2079/80. According to the data published by Nepal Insurance Authority, the 17 life insurance companies collected a total of NPR 104.73 billion. It’s just an increase of 2.25  percent as compared to the same period of last FY 2078-79.

The total premium income includes NPR 21 billion and 5.2 million first insurance premiums. During this period a total of 14,165,998 insurance policies were sold by the life insurers.
