Kathmandu: Nepal Re-insurance Company Limited (NRIC), the state-owned reinsurer has reinvited consultancies for international credit rating services. The second notice has been published on Tuesday amid the reinsurer couldn’t receive enough proposals from interested service providers within the first deadline.
The reinsurer has invited interested service providers or credit rating agencies for the rating purpose. The deadline for the submission of the expression of interest is April 26, 2023, before 12:00 noon. The proposal can be submitted through www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
NRIC has paid up capital worth NPR 11.65 billion (USD 88.91 million). According to its unaudited quarterly financial statement for the second quarter of the current FY 2079-80 (2022-23), its reserve and life fund have NPR 5.39 billion and 2.51 billion respectively. It has a total investment of NPR 19.81 billion.
