Kathmandu. Asian Life Insurance Company has entered into the tourism business by investing shares in four-star level hotels. Asian Life has bought about 40 percent of the promoter’s share of Crown Imperial, a multi-storey hotel located in Ravi Bhawan.
The 14-storey hotel building registered under the ownership of Orchid Holdings Pvt. Ltd. has more than 131 well-equipped rooms. This hotel is spread over an area of 9 thousand 1 hundred and 36 square meters.
Asian Life Insurance was earlier also holding majority shares of Asian Capital Limited, an investment management company. According to the quarterly financial statement published by the company, the current income has also been invested in hydropower projects.
