Kathmandu: The 25th annual general meeting(AGM) of IME General Insurance Company is scheduled to be held on Monday Magh 9, 2079. The meeting of the board of directors(BODs) held on Paush 17 announced the date for AGM. The meeting will be held at 11 am at Hotel Himalaya Lajimpat.
The meeting will discuss the annual report of the financial year 2078-79, the annual report of 2078-79, and other schedules.
Similarly, the BOD’s proposal to distribute a total of 6.31 percent dividend to the shareholders from the profits of the financial year 2078-79 will be endorsed by the AGM. The shareholders of the company will get 6 percent stock dividends and 0.31 percent cash dividends. The cash dividends will be used to pay the tax liabilities of the shareholders for stock dividends and cash dividends.
The assembly will delegate authority to the BODs to appoint auditors for the financial year 2079-80 and fix his remuneration, made necessary changes and amendments in the company’s Article of Association and Memorandum of Association as per the necessity and instruction of the Nepal Insurance Authority.
