Kathmandu: The age of Bhojraj Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of Insurance Institutes of Nepal(IIN), has exceeded the maximum age limit but he continues to enjoy his job. Nepal Insurance Authority has been renewing his appointment since Magh 2075.
According to the prevailing provision, an individual can not continue his job over the age of 58 years. Sharma is already over the age of 74 years. Having over six decades long experience in the Nepalese insurance industry, Sharma himself is an expert in Nepal’s insurance sector.
IIN is about to extend his tenure for another term. A single term equals 4 years. IIN was established on 10th Magh 2075. Sharma has been the CEO of the Institute since its inception. Prior to joining the IIN, he was a consultant to the Insurance Authority. He was over the age of 70 when appointed as CEO.
