Nepal Airlines Pays Additional Rs. 33 crore to Employees Provident Fund

Kathmandu: State-owned carrier, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) paid Rs. 33 crores 9 lakh 55 thousand to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) against the partial settlement of principal and interest due.

The Corporation had previously paid Rs. 73 crores 9 lakh 55 thousand in the month of Kartik of the current financial year 2079-80. The Corporation started the partial settlement of the long-due principal taken from the EPF to buy narrow-body aircraft. On last Asar, NAC had paid 1 billion 35 crore to EPF.
